Random thoughts: The President's SONA

What do I care about the Philippine president's state of the nations address? When at the first place, the president doesn't care for us?

Promises, promises, promises. I'm sick and tired of hearing your sweet promises Mr. President. Promises that are made to be broken before your term ends. Oh, what about your achievements? Let me see... Wangwang, Rh Bill, Sin Tax Bill and K-12? Are these what you boast for? Common, do you think people were glad and benefited from these? Did you realize how much burden did it cause to so much Filipinos still suffering for low cost of labor and even victims of injustices brought by incessant crimes and violence?

Did you still care about the Yolanda victims and even the families of SAF 44? Are you still deaf to our cries? The cries of the farmers, fishermen and the street vendors bellowed the most.

It's not surprising that the youth of today don't seem to bother anymore and unwilling to involve in these social issues. So shame that we can't even defend and claim our own islands just because we're cowards.

This never-ending corruption plagues us all throughout. From the lower body up to higher position, there's no remedy. We Filipinos are still caged in. Let's see if your promise towards the right path persist till next year.

Giving this blog a fresher look

As I'm wasting my time now instead of studying, at least I've done something great to compensate it and that is giving this blog a new look.

Well as you can see, it now looks lively and somewhat classy. I really love how its simplicity gave my blog a good vibe and aura.

Unlike the older layout, I minimized using many font styles and omitted the header background. Also, I renamed the blog from 'Cindy's threads' to a more appropriate term that described this blog its entirety and that is 'Cindy's Hideaway'.

The purple tinge, I like it. It looks so simple but this gives an edgy style compared to the previous layout.

I just realized you gotta to go simple some times in your life. True happiness comes from simpler things.

Catching time before the board exam

Realizing that time runs so fast, all you have to do is to get things done as soon as you can.

Whew! September is fast approaching and you know what that means, the Medical Technology Licensure Examination is getting nearer!

I'm still not convinced to myself if I'm ready enough to take the boards but for the sake of my parents, I have to and will try to pass by God's will.

Everyday I make a schedule as what topics to study but the ending is always I can't get all the subjects for that day. One thing that I have to fight each night is the sleep which makes me hate myself I end up sleeping without studying a thing.

Even though most of my classmates are halfway done, I still need to do it my way. I'll just focus to what's basics then go deeper to each subjects later.

Well, it's three hours past and I haven't studied anything. I know it's not too late, I'll just mind my own pace I guess. I can do  this! To top the board exam!
