What happened to MULTIPLY.COM ?

OLD LOGO..buh-bye!!
So much as I wanted to put some update to my MULTIPLY account, unfortunately I can't do it anymore. Why? Because the site multiply.com had changed their services from a social-networking site to an online-shopping site. Huhu! I was really disappointed about it since I love its compatibility and its user-friendly approach to users. I remembered when I first registered into the site, I was so glad that my webpage looked so pretty, so nice that my friends asked me how I did it. (I thank my computer teachers for that!)

Now, the website changed a lot. I couldn't see the word 'SHARE' now because all I see are the items with their prices. I tried to sign in but their system doesn't recognize my username anymore. Much to my disappointment, I see no blogs, videos, or family pictures (but there are tons of pictures of the items being sold). I tried to access my site thru link but this one appears right after entering.

The new multiply.com logo.
So, what happened to multiply.com? Could it be that they have the same reasons like friendster, who just reverted their services for the better? I just agree with their sudden change too because the page looks appealing for the buyers. They have focused solely on the e-commerce thing. As for the contents in my blog, I didn't receive any notifications how to get it from them. They were informing frequent users about this but I didn't get the chance to use their export tool. It's so sad, I don't know where did it go!

Well, multiply international might be gone but multiply marketplace runs for offering high quality and affordable products for the consumers. (Its base is now in Indonesia). You never know, you might as well like this site for the reasonable prices they are offering for your favorite cellphone or apparel? But it would have been better if they send me an email so I can import it in here. So I guess, I will say bye to multiply and be a BLOGGER USER for good. (I hope blogger won't do the same thing)..LOL!

BLOGGING OR FACEBOOK?

Blogger
Facebook

           or

It's been around five years since I opened this account. I was in high school then and I was just curious about how blogging works. I didn't take this seriously thinking it would blow up my private life and since I'm so busy with school, I just updated this when I have something so serious to talk about.

Now, five years had passed. I'm now a college student and I only have 34 blogs inside my page. I just realized how many important things I should have posted here, how many memorable moments I should have shared and to include those distressing ones. Though I haven't posted it here, I have posted it all in my memory. What do I get from blogging anyway?

Aside from having difficulties in expressing it all in English (though it isn't necessary), I also have troubles on how to make it more interesting to you (of course). I'm using the net for research and entertainment, but I didn't update this account (unlike facebook) because I don't have friends here or contacts. I don't have a friend who has a blog either so I feel bored seeing no one is liking my posts. One advantage of Facebook is that the moment you posted something, you could get likes in a flash and even comments that you and your friends could discuss.

To compare the two, Facebook has more users compared here. In blogger, you could only see interested users express their feelings or share their thoughts through formally written English whilst Facebook doesn't require that. Although Facebook doesn't have a webpage approach like blogger, it truly extends its purpose and that is to connect people that is important to you. On the other hand blogger advantages in a way that most educators, businessmen, and professionals post their thoughts here providing knowledge to thousands of web surfers all around the world. Not only that, blogger gives chance to students (like me), to talk about something that other students could relate.

If I were to be asked about this issue, I think I need both. Facebook connects me to people directly and blogger lets me express my feelings and thoughts about everything. My English got better upon blogging often too. I had fun digging my older posts (haha), my English was not so good.

Well, It doesn't matter how much followers you get in here but rather your will to instill knowledge to others. This could be your online diary too. Try it now, folks!

I'm in love with this chocolate.. FERRERO ROCHER

Last night, Ferrero Rocher broke the record as MY FAVORITE CHOCOLATE EVER. It was last night that I realized I love its rich milk choco filling coated with its delicious choco crisp! It was really loaded with ‘oh-so-yummy’ ingredients to the fact that I love the luscious hazelnuts around it.

Every bite of this chocolate gets more excitement because first, you can feel the soft crunch of the choco wafer coating, then there goes the hazelnuts tempting your palate and finally, you can savor the richness of the choco filling that is really, really delicious.

The chocolates come from a nice packaging being wrapped with a golden foil and on a cupcake wrapper. About 24 of them are placed in a nice transparent box good for gifting purposes. (Isn’t that presentable?)

So indulge and spoil yourself with this delectable and exquisite
chocolate. You can share this by two or among the group. Nothing gets sweeter if you share it with others. :)) Although I haven’t tried eating dark chocolates but for now, I’m in love with this chocolate. It is the best chocolate that I’ve been tasted so far. I want you to try this folks. It’s very addicting! Thanks pup for giving this to us:))

FACT: The word Rocher is a French word, meaning Rock.

This chocolate originated from Italy by a chocolatier named Pietro Ferrero.

Right Here Waiting... (AN OFW STORY)

This video was the one we made last year. Yeah, this was made possible with the help of my cousins (esp. Ate Jeb2). This vid shows how a filipino father really worked hard for the sake of his family without them realizing his sacrifices.

GUYTON'S BOOK OF MEDICAL PHYSIOLOGY (Review)

seventh edition of the book
Yaay....I'm done with my physiology subject this sem! I just hope that I will pass. LOL! Well, to those who took a pre-med course will certainly relate with me because Physiology is really a challenging subject. I can say you should put more efforts on to your studies if you don't want to get a failing grade. As for us, we should pass it or we can't get more major subjects next sem because this one is the prerequisite for the professional subjects. Even though how many times I tried to be interested in this subject, I just can't because of the many terminologies that should be instilled in to our minds. Our sessions were more on laboratory activities than lectures that's why I found it so hard to relate quickly (hello, I'm not genius:))).

But my worries lessened when our teacher introduced to us an alternative yet an effective book to understand physio well and this is Arthur Guyton's Textbook of Medical Physiology. Yeah, you read it right. The book may be a bit heavy and you may see the contents so boring (lesser pictures!) but it's just worth it. Just take time reading it patiently and the book will explain it further to you. It also contains parts and diagrams for you to connect how the mechanisms of our body work such as the mechanism of respiration, digestion, and even the pathway of blood into our heart. One system may contain at least 70-100 pages for you to read as it will explain it to you specifically. The book may be bought in a low price but I just borrowed it from the library. So if your library has one, then you can borrow it overnight.

stressed me during the finals
I'm not saying that this book will make you pass the subject. Hmm...Just try skimming the book if you are tired of the many powerpoint slides which you find it hard to comprehend.  Guyton's book of medical physiology was a reference my teacher used so if you have some problems understanding what your teacher was saying then try scan its pages. It really helped me a lot.

So that ends my sentiments about Guyton's book. I hope it helped you in choosing the right book to study physiology. As for me, higher grades in this subject doesn't matter as long as you understand what you've studied! Just have fun as you are exploring learning things under this.  Good luck fellas! .. Yohoo!

What a tragic March :((

Cute little one!
Hi guys!! Well, a lot had happened to me during this month and I think it was not good. To start with, we didn't think that my ate's fiance would be gone too soon. To think their wedding is fast approaching, it was really a tragic one coz we never thought he would face his end. It was really unexpected that I and my mother cried because of the accident. You know, I felt so sad for my ate because their day was planned already and suddenly she just lost her love. It hurts. I hope he is in the safe hands of our heavenly father..

Sleeping!!
On the other hand, last March 12, our dog Kimmy gave birth to her eleven very cute and adorable puppies. It was a good feeling then to have witnessed how she gave birth to her young coz we saw how the puppies came out from her womb. We were amazed to see the puppies came out with their plastic-like covering which I thought the cell from which they were developed. That's when we also saw Kimmy so protective and loving to her puppies when she licked each one of them just to dry them out. Most of the puppies are spotted (black and white) like dalmatians!

The next day, I arrived early from school. I was so depressed and my mind was fluttering thinking of the test we had in physiology. As usual, I was not able to answer it all. (Haha, I didn't take the test seriously!). I was so excited to see the puppies that I went straight to the place. When Kimmy saw me, she was just ok seeing me touch her puppies when the little Gian approached.

We have eleven of them!
At first, I and Gian enjoyed seeing the puppies when Gian accidentally hit the carton where Kimmy laid her puppies. When Kimmy saw Gian, I was really nervous now that Kimmy barked at us loudly. The dog even stood and kept on barking at us until she chased Gian. Luckily I got the hand of the child and we were on a merry-go-round state at that time. I remembered myself shouted for help and Lenlen was there in an instant. She got the child in her arms and Kimmy stopped. The incident caused a commotion to our neighbors

Well, it was not easy because if Gian got bitten. Things will get worse, I swear!

I say March was not a good month for me but to think it's the end of the second semester, I was so relieved!. No loads to study and we have more time to rest and relax. I hope that this coming April, I can make something productive. What do you think? ahahaha... stay tuned for more updated blog!
