I AM who I AM..

Guys, I'm glad that I found the poem I wrote five years ago...I was a very emotional and introvert person back then. This was written in a freestyle hand. Here this goes:

Should I have to dress up like a vixen
In front of the thousand naked eyes?
Though my heart was beaten
And feelings aching
Should thou force me to hold
the big calvary of my life?

I am who I am
Things thou showed upon me is not suitable,
nor pertinent, and capable
This is what my heart strongly whispered me in calm

My life is a tragic comedy,
That pushes me to hell harshly,
Thou do not hold my veins,
Why is gold better than silver?

O my Lord, my savior, abide his soul
For he was tempted by atraitor snake
For I am here, facing fear that I can't
escape the inevitable dusk bet at stake

I know the poem is so abstract but that's what I had in mind. This is really abstract but then I'm proud I was able to make a poem like this.

Procrastination, how can I get rid of it?

One of the things that I really hate to myself is being lazy. Well, I'm always running out of time catching up things that if I had done earlier, would save me from rushing or cramming. I always procrastinate especially during school days when there is a ton of notes to study and I wasted my free time for internet and nonsense stuffs. And you know what comes out, I end up regretting for the things I took for granted and suffer for a low grade that I deserve (ouch).

I think I need time management for this but the problem is I don't know how to manage time. huhu Yeah, it might be easy for us to jot down our task time to time but if we let these interruptions like internet, things will not run smoothly, that's for sure.

I'm now talking about it because of our delayed research work. To be honest, I am now to the point of giving up because I feel like the disease that we will be dealing with to our animal subjects is fatal. Thus, I'm also hesitant to ask for help from experts. Well, I should have took much effort weeks ago and now school days are fast approaching, I don't know if we can pursue it. Our vacation days are counted. :'((

I just hope that from this, I will learn from my mistakes for goodness sake and start practicing time management. Now, that I'm in the final year, I can see that things will get harder and the like so I will try my best to lessen internet usage and focus more to what is important. I do believe I can make through this!

Always Late,
Cindy

Spring Falls Getaway: Cambais Falls, Alegria Cebu

Cambais Falls, Alegria Cebu

It was a fine Glorious Saturday. This time, I was a bit excited to go to the place we've planned a month ago because some of my relatives kept on saying that the place is far away and we can't go there just by foot. The 18 km away from our house stunned me:'(

At 8:00 in the morning, although I'm so excited to go, I tried my best to make them say yes and I won. Distance doesn't matter as long as you'll be going there in groups with fun. So, preparations were made and some relatives were invited to go with us in this wonderful adventure:))

And they weren't wrong, we stopped at the Alegria highway to ride a 'Habal-habal' (motorcycle) going to Cambais. We we're like joy-riding for about thirty minutes as I and Cherry were seeing mountains and feeling the cold despite the hot weather. That was a long ride really and by the time the Habal-Habal stopped at a corner going up to Cambais mountains, the walking began. Tararan!

the curve road

Our walk going to the falls continues:

a stream as we went along

going up there to the 2nd and 3rd falls isn't easy compared to mainit springs. We kept on holding the rocks and anything we could find secure just to support us.

the second falls, where mom used to stay. That ladder is your
way to the 3rd falls

But we find the third falls more enjoyable...

That part is very deep already & I'm not a
swimmer so I can't go there
at last they moved the stone blocking
the falls!

and we finally had the chance to have our backs pampered:))

'a good way to relax' says Cherry ♥♥

so relaxed me!

the clan of beautiful men and women:))

we were leaving with big smiles

Although the cottage was free of charge, but the walk going to the Cambais Falls proper took us about Twenty-five minutes. Ate Khen said improvements were made in this place since her last visit with friends but I hope the local government will take an effort to widen the path and let motorcycles to pass through. Overall, I had more fun 'swimming' in here because the water is deep and a cold one. Just don't mind some people there looking at you. LOL! The long walk was worth it as we ate all the foods we brought but then, papa was not with us and as usual he's drinking with his mates. haha... so I hope that he can come with us the next time. The more the merrier then.

Special Thanks to Ate Khen for sharing some of these pictures in Facebook:))

Spring Falls Getaway: Mainit Spring

Hooray! It's summer time! Time to beat the heat of the sun with splashing fun! But wait, I'm not referring to beach waters here, this summer season, we spent our precious time more on a nature adventure and that accounts a lot of mountain climbing, trekking and exploring the wonders of our own place. This is my adventurous summer indeed as I loved taking pictures of greens, waters, cave-like structures and anything else I saw. If you love about nature plus splashing afterwards, then maybe going to the spring falls might be suitable for you.

Two years ago, we went to Mainit Spring to find out how wide or how hot the spring is, much to our surprise it doesn't only have a spring but a waterfall few meters away. That time, only few went there to take hot baths or to wash their clothes with their kids. A small pool was made for those people who want to feel the hot water which smells like sulfur. As I was saying, there's a hidden waterfall near to the hot water part. We felt like adventurers risking ourselves trailing the path of rocks. Though a little bit scary and slippery down there, we were amazed to see we were near the waterfalls! There was no people but us in the place but we forbid ourselves to make some noise (we still believe in supernatural beings ya' know)..

This was two years ago, when Mainit Spring was
not yet developed.
the place was much surrounded with plants.
No proper pathway back then.
One of my uncle said that the cave in front of us can lead us to another falls but I think it's dangerous to climb up there so we decided to stay and start enjoying the spring water. The end of that 2012 Mainit Spring Experience.

water is not clear
I thought that would be our last visit to Mainit Spring when our family decided to spend the holy week in our province in Alegria, Cebu. One of my ate said that so much have changed in Mainit Spring now being developed by the Local Tourism in Malabuyoc. So without hesitation, asking the holy providence to guide us on a Holy Thursday afternoon, we set off to Malabuyoc riding a tricycle.:))

Upon arriving, my ate was right! Mainit Springs changed a lot. Once a free of entrance spring has a fee now of P 10.00 (adults). There were already friendly staffs accommodating you to the cottage where you place your foods and stuffs (coz eating is not allowed once you go to the spring).

So I'm going to show you how Mainit Spring improved a lot:

the signage :))

We were never get close to that cave since our first visit, but now they managed to make a way going up to another falls:)) This is what I didn't see.

falls flowing
trees everywhere:))

probably the longest falls here in Mainit. One
should have the guts to climb that rock out
there and fight the heavy pouring of the
falls and I did:))

having fun here

WOW... that was an awesome experience! I'm glad that the local government of Malabuyoc developed the place. That would generate an income to the municipality as well as could give employment to the locals. Thumbs up, Mainit Springs! I had so much fun!
