BLOGGING OR FACEBOOK?

Blogger
Facebook

           or

It's been around five years since I opened this account. I was in high school then and I was just curious about how blogging works. I didn't take this seriously thinking it would blow up my private life and since I'm so busy with school, I just updated this when I have something so serious to talk about.

Now, five years had passed. I'm now a college student and I only have 34 blogs inside my page. I just realized how many important things I should have posted here, how many memorable moments I should have shared and to include those distressing ones. Though I haven't posted it here, I have posted it all in my memory. What do I get from blogging anyway?

Aside from having difficulties in expressing it all in English (though it isn't necessary), I also have troubles on how to make it more interesting to you (of course). I'm using the net for research and entertainment, but I didn't update this account (unlike facebook) because I don't have friends here or contacts. I don't have a friend who has a blog either so I feel bored seeing no one is liking my posts. One advantage of Facebook is that the moment you posted something, you could get likes in a flash and even comments that you and your friends could discuss.

To compare the two, Facebook has more users compared here. In blogger, you could only see interested users express their feelings or share their thoughts through formally written English whilst Facebook doesn't require that. Although Facebook doesn't have a webpage approach like blogger, it truly extends its purpose and that is to connect people that is important to you. On the other hand blogger advantages in a way that most educators, businessmen, and professionals post their thoughts here providing knowledge to thousands of web surfers all around the world. Not only that, blogger gives chance to students (like me), to talk about something that other students could relate.

If I were to be asked about this issue, I think I need both. Facebook connects me to people directly and blogger lets me express my feelings and thoughts about everything. My English got better upon blogging often too. I had fun digging my older posts (haha), my English was not so good.

Well, It doesn't matter how much followers you get in here but rather your will to instill knowledge to others. This could be your online diary too. Try it now, folks!
