Fare Increase in Philippines?

We really can't deny the increase of oil here in the Philippines. Imagine, we can have the gasoline for P50!.And because of this, many Filipinos are suffering especially the PUJ and taxi drivers.

But is it right or proper to increase the fare in PUJs and taxis again?

If the government will force the increasing of fare, few companies will be closed or will retrench.

We already know how to budget a small amount of money in everyday life and our primary needs are food.
That's why we can say that it's better not to force these organizations for the drivers to increase fares.
Instead of increasing, I think we should find another ways to decrease the price of gasoline.

One of the ways is the Oil Deregulation Law.

Hello Cindy
Gasoline went to $4.49 a gallon here in Ithaca,New York.Back in 1973 the government enacted odd and even gasoline rationing. If your liscence plates ending number was even you could buy gas on certain days and if were odd you could only buy gasoline on others. They also reduced the speed limit from 65mph to 55mph

Propane right now is $4.67 a gallon. With a five hundred gallon tank that adds up to $2335.
