A BELIEVER'S FAILURE

from www.ronedmondson.com

Tears flowed down on my cheeks
As I watched my sheet with a red stained ink
Alas! I failed again
Bearing this very excruciating pain, I say.

For a while, my world went down
Thinking of the things I should have done
I gave it all, I did my best
But nothing gave me satisfaction
Nor contentment or exaltation.

I have nothing more to face
And so I knelled and prayed
Hoping that the skies will give me strength
And I'll be relieved.

This is all I need to strive hard once more
To fail, I know will be my stepping stone
To surpass the insurmountable struggles I must
Just to prove that failure is not a hindrance

No matter how much failure can strike me
But I'll search the light that would lead me
For failure is just the humble beginning
Towards my fruitful forthcoming.
